This show was done through community theater during the summer between 8th grade and freshmen year. It was tougher to complete considering I was working at a theater summer camp and had to learn lines for two shows at a time.

The Cowardly Lion is the last straggler that Dorothy picks up on the yellow brick road. He is a beast of the forest, venturing to Oz to get courage from the Wizard. He is frightened of everything, and his terror and subsequent sadness is extremely over-the-top. By the end, he is able to find his confidence.
